Have DOM + MINION<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dom<\/strong> here refers to domain, a territory to be governed: a sphere where one can exercise influence. It’s an area of land, in this case, earth; viewed as a kingdom\u2014king’s domain. Earth is a monarchical territory, annexed to heaven. But, because our King\u2014God<\/em> is in our state capital\u2014heaven<\/em>, we rule here in His stead as ambassadors. Minion<\/strong> actually means a servant\u2014a slave\u2014someone accepting another\u2019s rule and working hard, having been bought with a price\u2014Crucifixion<\/em> in this case, and granted salvation.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow then we are ambassadors \u2026 reconciled to God<\/em>.\u201d1<\/sup><\/strong><\/p>\n

So the merger of both words, give us dominion<\/strong>, simply to mean Heaven\u2019s ambassador: You\u2019re indeed a royalty on earth. Furthermore, the phrase \u201chave dominion<\/em>\u201d is the charge to exercise the right of ownership and take up the reins over other creatures. So God, in essence had said: \u201cMy ambassadors, take charge, and have control\u2026.\u201d Yes, Christ is the heir apparent and by propitiating man to God, via adoption\u2014being born-again, you\u2019ve become a co-heir. Therefore, you should rule here as an heir; relishing your heritage.2<\/sup><\/strong><\/p>\n
