\"\"Is writing an art? This question is typically rhetorical; howbeit, we shall rely on the essence of its answer to aid the discourse of this article. In order to substantiate this assuming inference, the definition of Art is hereby, necessary. Art is primarily the superior skill that can be learnt by training or study via observation that attracts practice, which culminates to mastery. The processes that bring about art creations may not necessarily be beautiful in themselves, but in the end, beautiful or significant things are created. The world is so old with a whole lot to cast appreciative gazes upon; amongst the lots are fine, literary pieces. Art in a nutshell is the product of human creativity\u2014works of art collectively\u2014writing<\/em> inclusive.<\/p>\n

THE ART\u2014Writing<\/strong><\/p>\n

Art had been said to be life; as the former basically imitates the latter. Let there be light\u2026. And the \u2018dark\u2019 is called \u2018night.\u2019 Separation was done for water and land; then created were the fishes and beasts \u2026 and then, man. Man had since then sought to be like the God, Who made him in His image: initiating evolution! Evolution of the Artist\u2014he draws, paints, and sculpts; he sings \u2026 and even writes<\/em>. Writing is an art of stringing together alphabets that had formed words on a plain surface or paper, in sense making sentences, in order that communication can be aided. Writing leads to the production of \u201cliterary works.\u201d Put simply, writing is the art of creating written works.<\/p>\n

This art documents life with formed words; an ability that takes structure in virtually all languages\u2014spoken<\/em>, and then written when the uniquely made sounds by a people are encoded into accepted alphabets\u2014a character set, used to write a language<\/em>: of course, English is the language that has found expression in this article. Solution borne ideas are formed by thought processes<\/em>, devoid of language\u2014formless<\/em>, but expressed in words of the thinker’s communicative nomenclature. It is this higher cognitive process that gives form to words, which are plied to qualify the main activity of this enviable profession\u2014writing<\/em> with veritability. Thinking, when done out-of-the-box is said to be creative: the kind of thinking by which novel literary pieces are crafted.<\/p>\n

Creative thinking is the reasoning that takes place in the mind, which leads to certain creations. This kind of thinking stretches the mind beyond its original state, causing it to begin to see extraordinary things from the ordinary\u2014fitly pondering that positions one to perceive things that are not, as though they were: this is where problem solving ideas<\/em> that will eventually be made visible to the awe of all are given form. Creative thinking<\/em> is most times spontaneous and works better, if not forced; it is however, best mastered and controlled. At times when it does flow and gets to be translated into writing, original artistic works are produced. You can think wherever; best thoughts though, have been done in solitudes. Practice is what strengthens the enablement to control this capability; howbeit, mastery is what gives rise to fluency in writing creatively.<\/p>\n

Creative Writing<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is the entire process of crafting\u2014laying down<\/em> in absorbable chic, the content of a writer\u2019s thoughts with an appealing style. The prowess of creative writing unleashed with the power possessed by an active imagination to make appealing compositions out of worthy ideas, makes for valued <\/em>writings<\/em>: this is what a good writer does, for the reading pleasure of his or her readers who are opportune to enter into his or her mind. Artfully composed, the seasoned writer holds readers with wordy arms, leading them to see from his point of exclusive insight. Readers\u2019 open-mindedness and their resultant acceptance of the propagated facts seemingly endue on them, the writers\u2019 experiences: these places of experiences are created by the writer, like God did the world in the beginning\u2014at <\/em>the unprecedented Creation<\/em>, and then made man to eat the fruits thereof. Like an avatar, the reader assumes another life with which to live in the surreal world for a spell\u2014life, made with the writer\u2019s penning wand: this phenomenon proves the life of a book. The idea of writing in such depth with unfettered passion is to get readers involved in a knowing procedure<\/em>; meanwhile, it behoove the writer to convince the readers with his or her perceptive knowledge where the latter are incited to reflect upon the former\u2019s experiences, as though they had participated in real events.<\/p>\n

To write convincingly, it must be done from the heart and pushed out with the force of passion: that is where originality happens. The art of writing must be exceptionally delivered to attract readers, since many people are gravitating toward other media, like television, computer games, and so on; for fascinations that they therein, find. The kinds of writing that will sell are those that are thrilling and inspiring enough to pull engaged minds from other forms of entertainment, to want to read instead\u2026. And creative writing is a tool worth mastery, with which to achieve this feat. The outcomes of any artful expression, penned skillfully, and well guided by passion will always make exceptional books, articles, letters, and so forth\u2014outstanding products of creative writing<\/em>.<\/p>\n
