RULE TWO: WORDS—Use them with Eloquence.

RULE TWO

WORDS—Use them with Eloquence.

Comprehension should be the parameter for knowledge transferencewhat writers basically do. This is sometimes encumbered with clutters, which when well-ordered, attention-getting effects are achieved. Eloquent use of words is a proficiency that necessitates quality in writing, and any writer efficient with that, will always captivate his or her readers. How the expertise is acquired and put to use, determines the success or failure of every writer. With wisdom acquisition: it is said that “wisdom is the principal thing; therefore, get wisdom: and in all your getting, get understanding.”1 In the case ofknowledge transference: Knowledge is the principal thing; therefore, give knowledge, and in your entire giving, writer, give understanding. It is however the attraction of the knowledge, which is eventually gotten that, brings about understanding.

The power that words possess can never be overemphasized. This is evident in Creation—“Let there be light; then, this … and that!”1 All were the spoken Words of God, which called things into being. Strategically used, words can guide readers through the path of enlightenment where hopelessness is dispelled. Employing too many words in writing could conceal the meaning intended; besides, the effect of emphasis could be lost with verboseness. These might give readers the extra work to comprehend what has been written. Write concisely, and the goal to enlighten will be easily achieved—use fewer, but more powerful words to convey your information…. Endeavour not to eventually depress the audience you are trying to impress: a good work of art—literary inclusive does not try to look good, it just is. Bottom line is, lucidness will impress rather than depress anyone: ply that. Use powerful words to claim the authority, which qualifies you an author.

Do not water down the power of strong nouns and verbs by employing irrelevant qualifications and unnecessary modifications with numerous adjectives and adverbs; this will swamp and suffocate the authority borne by any composition: You doubtlessly will craft livelier expressions with less fluffs and frills. As for figures of speech, they should be used for effects; howbeit, they are most effective when used sparingly. Again, words are the most powerful force on earth; use them rightly, to hit intended worthy marks.

It is my utmost hope that you can live up to expectation with the keeping of this rule: WORDS—Use them with Eloquence. Like rule one, it sure will make your penning defy all odds and be appreciated by almost, if not all readers. With the plying of this know-how, you are bound to write concisely—imparting your readers with the solution borne information you proffer, using few words with great impact that says it all every time.

You can break this rule by not being okay with the first draft of your manuscripts, but editing them even for the umpteenth time, before they get to the desk of a professional editor. Bear in mind that, as much as good can be bettered, better can be bested: it is the extra work done after finishing a task that gets an ordinary result, extraordinary; qualifying the worker—the writer in this case, a writer extraordinaire.

Rule three will be coming before you know it…. Keep watch!
